Likewise, why the hell would anyone drive around in in an un-armored car that screams “I’m an armored car”? That’s akin to open carrying a gun and leaving the boolits at home.

something must weigh a bit when a F450 Chassis with a 6.7 PS is reduced to less than half @ 10K towing.

My neighbor who for the past numerous years has worked in offroad vehicle development as sub-contractor for Ford SVT and now Ford Performance, used to run an R&D department for Bilstein.
They sent him to Mexico on several trips to develop and implement suspension modifications for a vast array of armored vehicles, the most challenging being an armored school bus.
