Very cool boat. It always amazes me how a manufacturer will demo a 94 mph boat without LifeLines on. Pretty sure DCB gives you a set with them on, and you never see Tony running a boat without one. 94 will kill you pretty quick.

No one is “giving” out lifelines. It’s in the price. ;)

Lifelines are not USCG approved. So not sure on liability if it was on public water( not a race) anyhow.

I think you would really want to have a fast single to do that. For about the same price you could have twin 300s that would do everything better except for water access out the back.

Bad ass. Love the mid 80s paint scheme! So clean. Everything about that boat is sweet.

Swim step between the 300's is actually bigger than the ones on the single. And yeah, with 300's it would not be much more $$$ and go 30 mph faster, plus the stability of twins and docking advantages.

Saw a guy at the drag races about 6 years ago get chucked out at 61mph. Broke his neck and was dead instantly before rescue fished him out of the water. Unfortunately it happens.

91mph with what a $5000 prop, perfect weather conditions, cold air 60s to 70's light on fuel, head wind, good wind chop. Sure.

Now do it summer time 110 degrees, middle of the day running up to Topock with a couple coolers, 4 people and realistic amount of fuel say 40 -50 gallons. I'm guessing an honest 82-85 mph.

Not bashing at all, its just not realistic numbers to give to the customer for a typical weekend boating situation. Boat is awesome and I'd love to drive one.

I kind of doubted you until I went back and looked at an old picture.

I am assuming the big guy is the new owner, he is really up high and gonna catch some bugs. When I did my interior with Eliminator they made me two lower cushions, a thick one for putting around the channel and a thin one for going at speed, I wonder if that issue came up on the test, hes gonna get alot of wind.

True, it’s the tie bar that is what makes it more difficult, more so at the beach than floating.

The twin 300 25 I drove ran a tad over a 100.. It didn't run 120? Granted they didn't have the bad ass cleavers on it when I ran it, but 120's is hauling ass.. I think it might run 108-110 with cleavers?
