Seen a thread here quite awhile ago,BUT I would like to find a good pool builder here in Havasu? Who did yours?
Mike Van Rooy.
I build out there every now and then but way to busy, couldn't touch til prob next year. Go into SCP distributors at the corner of industrial and lake havasu ave. They're the only pool distributor out there, every pool store, service and builder are buying from them in some way shape or form. Hit up the counter guys or manager, they won't sell to you but should be able to at least refer you to a good honest builder. Or pm me I can make some calls and forward you some numbers.

Mom was think a little fiber glass pool but damn that is really nice. Maybe I'll start saving too

Mike Van Rooy built our pool as well. Not the biggest nor the cheapest but we, and others, felt the best due to quality of construction and referrals. Mike does not advertise but he is always busy, that should say something.

Were two months in next week with Desert Storm, not going as fast as expected.
I know this is an old post, but I have been calling around with no luck getting in touch with anyone to even get a quote on a pool. I called sandcastle and playing phone tag with greg from there. Call Desert Storm pools and they aren't even giving quotes until July. I know its crazy busy in Havasu right now, but I would love to just have a list of builders to call and see what info I can get.
Talked to mohave today. They are ready to start in may at the earliest.I know nothing of their quality, but Mohave has adds stating, they can start immediately.
I heard that from our builder yesterday that the tile is holding up 75% of the builds in Havasu right now...We are using Sandcastle, its out third pool with them in the last 4 years. They have 28 pools going in town and in Kingman as of yesterday. Our pool is gunited but its been sitting a month now. The tile my wife wants is imported, I guess most of it is actually, and it was held up with all of the BS at the port of LA. I thought it was a bullshit answer at first on what was up with the delay, but I looked at all of the shipping and status stuff on line with the Sandcastle owner and it was a legit situation.
Tile finally came in and Sandcastle has it. Waiting now on their top tile guy, been with them almost 30 years, he has done our 2 previous pools and we requested him again. Supposed to start Tuesday next week since he is on another job now.

These guys did my parents pool a few years ago. Turned out nice and was done on schedule.
If you don't mind me asking what this pool is going to cost? Are they going to kick me to the end of the line if im looking for a basic pool? Nothing to extravagant.I heard that from our builder yesterday that the tile is holding up 75% of the builds in Havasu right now...
mine is done thank god
