Makes me wonder why the hell they need the buoy's anchored so dam heavily. Overkill much?Looks like the guy who has to repair the course every time a member runs it over got real serious about how to anchor the buoy line....!
Someone was saying a kid was driving and they tried to keep this as quiet as possible for insurance reasons. This video has been around for years. I've never experienced a slalom course anchored to the bottom in this way. They are supposed to be meant to break away so this cannot happen.
It appears like the boat did not travel one foot beyond where it got hooked up. I can only imagine the complete surprise the driver got.......
At least he wasnt behind the boat and could avoid hitting it. Unlike the driver and the steering wheel....As well as the skier! lol
