Right on the beach! Take the sxs from the garage to the sand. We are down here with my buddy John Holmes and he has several 100 mile rides planned over the next seven days..

I might hit a few ponga rides snd skip a few of them lol. We are here for the Coronas and the weather. I will probably hit two or three.

Bad ass!!!! You’ll remember this trip for a loooooong time. Went down there as a kid quite a bit. Be safe. They speak “off-road” in San Felipe so if you wear a Baja 1000 or King Shocks shirt and look the part you should be good. Lol...

If ya don’t go looking for trouble I don’t think you will find any.. it’s still pretty touristy, or at least that’s what it feels like.

But yes you are correct this place isn’t innocent and old world Mexico like Troncones.. that place is absolutely awesome.

Have some family friends who got the rug pulled out from under them down there keep your head on a swivel and when cash don't cut it break out the violin lol.

Great looking crew.... friendly advice ... travel el norte' on way to border during daylight and keep the guy in Excursion in center of group. Thats the one they'd pick off.... no desire for pickup trucks.

I have a bunch of friends that are there right now on a Harley run. Yearly deal, most are law enforcement or friends of them. I wasn’t able to make it this year do to work.

Looks like the Boom Boom Room is still there, how about the Miramar?. The taco place next to to the Miramar had great fish tacos or was that alcohol induced? The zoo road crossing was always a good place to see some air time at least for the trophy trucks. And go check out the cactus garden.

Yeah we ran into Kenny last night downtown, he said he was part of the Harley ride. He was off to hear a blues band:)

Gotta be honest with the way the US is going I find myself looking at places like Troncones as a possible escape plan.. If world war 3 happenedI’m not even sure you’d notice it down there.

No shit. A friend has a nice house 30 minutes south of SF on a large water front home on a couple acres. House is fully modern with every luxury and fully off the grid. Garage opens to the beach, no one for miles.

Those tacos were that good. I remember the old lady frying them up in that big pot of lard, lol and grabbing beers from the little fridge. Got a picture of that place somewhere. Great place to soak up the tequilla after a night at club bar Miramar. Must have been mid-80's..........

I have a picture of our off road race team sitting at that exact table many years ago.
If it is still around there is a restaurant called El General at the far end of town just past the police station on the right of your headed down towards the house you rented. Get the onion soup. It will change your life.
And don’t forget to LOCK YOIR SHIT UP and disable the trucks if you leave on a long ride.

the houses are 15-20 minutes south of town.. we just unloaded and came back to town for food and to stock up on beers
