Just thought I'd post an alternate idea for the So Cal locals that won't be making the trip to Havasu this weekend. This show has been one of the better shows to attend in years past and with 500 cars signed up I'm sure this year will be no exception...

The date in the thread title should be 4/24/21.

Are you bringing a car? The flyer says they had over 900 cars last show. I'm entry 465. 👍

No Car, BMW's are driving machines not muscle cars. Just spectating...

There limiting the show to 500 cars but compared to what we had for car shows last year this is a pretty good start...

I'm willing to bet they went over that 500 number. We'll see Saturday. 😎

Pretty good turn out for one of the first official car shows of this new era. This show had something for everyone except for boats, they were all in Havasu...

The best story of the show was Jay and his 69 Z28 Camaro. Jay bought this real deal Z28 back in 1972 and turned it into a race car. He won 3 Wally's with one being the 82 Winter-nationals and another at the 83 U.S Nationals. Jay would eventually blow up that 302 but not before he fulfilled his dream. Jay returned that Z back to how you see it today less that 302 engine...

The variety at this show is second to none, you want to take your tractor for a spin, not a problem. Most don't even fly their confederate flags anymore but some still do. Rare cars, I never even heard of a Ford Falcon GT (right hand drive from Australia) let alone see one until yesterday.

Best of Show Winner was this to die for 54 Buick...

My old man @ the Corn Feed, with the car he bought when he was 16.
Which houses the backseat that allegedly "kick started" this family into existence!🤣

My neighbor has a 57 Chevy with a similar story 1st car. I told him and his wife they probably conceived their first born in the back seat as well. She turned red and walked away, bingo anyone...

Looks like an amazing show. Great variety. I went to the South OC Cars and Coffee again this Saturday and wish they’d be more selective on who they let in. Crap tons of JDM garbage and near stock dime a dozen BMWs taking up spots and old muscle being turned away at 9:30. I can only see so many beat up Datsuns.

Wife and kids went to the show... Wife and said the same damn thing about the space in those back seats. We are soo Happy with small back seats of cars today with having a 19 yr old daughter...LOL... we chuckled that after 2 minutes they probably give up! It was a great show and awesome turn out..it was so nice to be out to a big show like that, wish the vendor section had more participants but great nonetheless.

I had a brief encounter with Chino PD during the show and this is how conversation started: I want to Thank You and your Colleagues for your dedication and service to the community, he smiled and returned the Thank You!!! I continued my rant stating this show is a true testament how people from all walks of life can come together and demonstrate what a Great Country this really is. I hope to see more shows / events like this one where communities can come together and sing in perfect harmony.

Congrats to the City of Chino, Chino PD, all of the Volunteers and the Kiwanis Club on a job well done...
