Checking the mail and watering the newly planted saplings. Could have been planted a little closer to water source 🤷‍♂️

Here’s a free tip of the day. If you ever get a ranch, farm or a big property, DO NOT give your significant other this can. It is used for trees that need to be removed, new roads, planting, fencing, rocks and the list is never ending. When you drive on a UTV it’s very easy to mark things. Especially when you’re not doing the work.😂

One of the more comedic awards I’ve received:
Completed my Classified recert Bomb Tech course: Our team beat out five other teams for the safest tactics award over 3 days of EOD problems-challenges :
West Coast team : LAPD/ OCSD/ San Mateo SD/ Anchorage AK FBI
The “award” was drawn up by the lead instructor’s (Army Retired Master Crab EOD) 6 year old son.
Other teams were from midwest , south, and northeastern states

3100 Police Bomb Techs in a country of 800,000 Cops.
Good Company
Couple pics of our National Hazardous Devices School: OG Bomb suits from the 60’s/70’s
And yes, a Jack Daniels Barrel will be one of my retirement decorations for my garage👍

Besides wire nuts I have these guys a try, seems a lot cleaner for wiring them up.

Rode one of the Spin rental scooters from my place downtown to my buddies spot around lunchtime today. Had a beach towel around my neck and my AO cooler on my shoulder.

Got yelled at by two old guys to “stop free loading off PPE” and to “get a job” while sharing the sidewalk at a stoplight 😂

Progress toward the finish line. Will run gas and electric tomorrow and then prep the countertop for a 1.5" epoxy / resin, reclaimed barn wood finish. BBQ is still a week out but it doesn't matter, have the insulated part that fits fine. Smoker on the left is a drop-in so no need for a dry fit. 24x24" griddle came today and was rough fit and removed. There is bar seating on both sides but can't install that until the countertop is done. Pics will explain it better, later on.

Went out into the yard and grabbed a few flowers to make an arrangement for the wife on the dinner table. I was excited to see that the small flower in the middle (its call Beehive Ginger) had a bloom. It has only bloomed 3 times with only one bloom in the 4 years that I have had it.
