So I don't know if its true or not, but a client told me they are on the verge of bankruptcy. I wonder if they always are on the verge, since every couple months they post a new sign "UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT."

PS: Was gambling at BJ tables at BW , over aggressive security guard approaches tells me " several times sir you have been asked to cover you { NOSE} , NEXT TIME YOU'LL BE THROWN OUT." I said " ONLy ONCE the dealer told me to cover my nose. Fuck that give my chips back. I aint fucking playing when your gonna come at me with that tone. " Went and found the security guard after i cashed in my chips, and told him " see all the people with their faces exposed. But you come after me bro." Tells me " he cant be everywhere at once. Fuck him and his cunt pit boss.
Fucking people have never learned " customer service" and they don't want any help from the "MAN." So i hope this place burns to the ground.

That place is a dump. The rooms are horrendous, the service is terrible. It’s a mess. We always joke with friends about how long it takes to get a cup of coffee there. The lady has like 9 pieces of paperwork she has to print, fill out and file in different spots for a simple cup of coffee. It’s actually hilarious to watch.

We got thrown out once for cheering too much while playing blackjack. 4 of us tipping dealers minimum $5 a hand.

They have 0 customer service on the floor

I'm still a little bitter in the way they handled the campground and trailer park before the casino was built. Talk about an eviction and a get the eff out. I'll never spend a dime there.

the rooms have been remodeled. And I feel bad for the old white lady running there “ Starbucks “ she never has help. Trying to get a cup of coffee and everyone in front of me gotta order some fancy shit mix coffee ice soy latte.

I always liked the steak house..
It’s great. But they’re only open Friday and Sat. We had booked our room for a Sunday. They just don’t know how to run things. I heard the Havasu Casino truly enjoys the outside help and the profits.

We have never got a decent hand on their games.
And their drinks got expensive even if you're playing.
We're going for breakfast at Havasu Landing tomorrow and will give an update

Took the kids there for breakfast years ago and when the 6'5" native American transvestite server with the huge beaufant hairdo escorted us to the table my boys were asking what's that? Gave everyone weird vibes (was very bizarre) so that's the last time I went there.

We have been kicked out probably 90% of the times we have been there, usually for having too much fun.

The best one was a friends wife, was laughing and having fun just sitting at the bar, and she ordered a new drink, as soon as they handed it to her, the boss, said she had too much to drink and took her drink from her, so she tells the boss, "Don't be a fucking Indian giver". We were all kindly asked to leave at that moment, but damn was it was funny.

I stopped buying gas/etc from the Tribal business last year after they shut down all the beaches

I laughed at the operator. I said your casino is open 24/7 but beach and Marina still closed.

Agree the place is a dump. The rooms, patio, elevators, hallways, everything was filthy the last time we stayed there a couple years ago. Customer service does not exist. WiFi doesn't work, TV was jacked up, patio door didn't close properly, etc. The only good thing about the place was the convenience of the docks.

they are sitting in a gold mine and don’t know how to capitalize.. that cantina location could be an epic nighttime destination
^^^TRUTH^^^ Also - They could have concerts there every Saturday and bring in a grip of cash but rarely ever use the venue! BW has to be the most mismanaged place on the entire river!!!

I remember being 20 at that place and gambling away the last 20 bucks from my weekly paycheck (blew it all) at a keno machine drunk AF and chain smoking. It was about as degenerate as it got to be honest.

However that experience alone pretty much kept me away from casinos during the times in my life i could least afford it. So thanks for that BW.

When I was working IT I had a few of the indian casino's in riverside county for customers, that said they were horrible it to deal with. They had non indians running the IT departments and there was new staff about every 6 months because they were never happy with what was going on, the tribe was incapable of doing it but wouldn't keep anybody else long enough to get it done correctly. I don't see BW capable of any better.

We haven't even been in there in a couple of years, but when we did stop in it was to use the bathroom and get a drink at the island bar. There was a really nice older bartender that always showed us some love with the drinks, and he always was there in the AM when we started our day of drinking.

When we did actually stay there 10 years ago, we used to BBQ on the end room patios and security would come around and chat with us and never gave us a hard time. Rooms were decent enough, since we spent most of our time on the boat anyway. The water slides were fun for the kids, if we needed a break from the heat.

Our last stay there, we were at the BJ table and I was on my last chip and I wanted to double down, so I asked my buddy for a loan. He slid a chip over to me, and the dealer swept it off the table onto the floor and told him that he couldn't do that. My buddy calmly picked up his chip and told him that move was messed up and the dealer challenged him to a fist fight in the parking lot. Well, my buddy doesn't back down, words are exchanged and security shows up and tells us to go to our rooms. WTF - go to our rooms? Are we 5 year olds??? We laugh but leave the BJ table and go over to get a drink from the bar, flanked by 4 security guards who didn't leave us until we finally said fuck it and went out to the boat. We never stayed there after that. And, we never won anything gambling there either. Another good friend bought a house in the keys shortly after that so we didn't need to stay there which was a relief. Can a tribal casino even go bankrupt? Wouldn't the feds help them out before that happens?

I never liked how cold the water was in the water slide. Other than the cold water the rest of the place has been rather undesirable too. Trying to think of something positive to say about the place... 🤔

Maybe the company that owns the now defuncted Colorado Belle will take over for the Indians and capitalize on the potential. Indians will still "Own" it but let Nevada gaming run it following the "special" tribal rules. What a shame, its on pristine river front property, easy to get to both on and off the water. Isn't the Avi an Indian casino?

Last and only time I was at the Blue Water was when I was in town to buy a pontoon from a guy in Parker in 2017. My buddy was doing me a solid by coming out with me and checking out the boat. I put up for the drive out, hotel room and figured I’d treat him to dinner before going to meet the guy with the pontoon for a wet test run early in the AM.

Place seemed ok for an Indian Casino, though rooms were pretty run down. It was late and we’d been on the road for some time. I Figured let’s skip the cheap Blue Water cafe and have a nice sit down dinner at their steakhouse. Big mistake. Food was terrible and overpriced, came out slow and overcooked. Nothing they did was right and they didn’t give two shits if it was or wasn’t right.

By the end of a very disappointing dinner we decided we should go to Road Runner for one drink to cap the night off right. And that’s the last thing I remember. I woke up in my hotel room reeking of cigarette smoke and horribly hungover. I was still wearing my clothes from the night before. Buddy was in no better shape.

We got black coffee, met the dude with the pontoon, and with little inspection or negotiation, pretty much just gave the guy money to hook it to my truck so we could get our hungover asses back on the road. Good times, but won’t be back to BW.

WAIT WHAT !!!!!!

Didn't the C.R.I.T. wagon burners get millions in PPP Money, Grants or whatever to help survive the shut down that they help extended by staying shut down well after everything else opened up ?

Good riddance buh bye 👋

If these tribes had any sense at all including Havasu Landing and to turn these Casinos over to a well named Hotel chain and then sit back and collect more money that they had ever imagined, stay at home for the rest of their lives and have Bud Light delivered daily forever ;)

As a kid and a young adult it was fun. My brother and I have some funny stories at the expense of others poor decisions. Now a days I have no interest in ever going there or even supporting their businesses.

you could make every single tribe member a millionaire overnight with a simple contract to honor land leases in American courts

I heard the same horror stories for San Manuel and Morongo so I never bothered trying to work there either.

Every time we go there we are threatened to be kicked out or we get kicked out. The fun police are on duty there for sure. Matter a fact, last time we were there I am pretty sure we were getting threatened to be kick out and ran into old RD. Maybe we were just on a losing streak.

Can't pull the victim card once you do that. CRIT is a mismanaged mess...much like DHHL back home... a handful of greedy cock suckers profiting when in reality they all could..but the powers at be pull the victim card which keeps them in control. I haven't stepped foot in there since I cleaned house on the roulette machine they and their "security" that couldn't have found common sense if handed two pennies came by to harass (fyi that machine is gone). Fuck those greedy cock suckers..we make sure to not spend any more time on FEDERALLY paid for roads through that shithole than we need to. It's been a solid 5 years since we made a stop for so much as a Red Bull in Parker, other than foxes, or desert bar which aren't under their bullshit. Fuck em...hope they go under.

The casino total sucks...

The Cantina is always good for a cold drink though.

Terrible place overall.

Maybe it just me but I have been going to BW for almost 10 years now and always had a good time. Service has been ok. Gambling is always fun, I know I’m gonna lose anyway but I did win 1,000 at three card last time I was there. Kids like the slide and the movie theater. I like the marina for the boat. My son learned how to wake board when they had wakeboard island. Everyone has been nice to us and we always do the same. Like the steak house. Yeah it’s a 3 star resort at best but it’s what you make if it. Never been hassled by security.

I've been staying there while crewing for the Enduro for the last 3 or 4 years....rooms weren't worth what we paid for 'em, but they were clean and nice. Never had an issue with the service or any of the staff.

Place sounds like Bucky's in Prescott....uptight fuckers work there. That place always has a bad vibe....Don't go there anymore when I go to Prescott. Just sneak into the lobby and see the gingerbread village at Christmas time then scramboolie.
