That’s why this is an audit. Not a recount

But are they verifying signatures? I know they are examining ballots for paper authenticity but dont know about signatures and registration to vote.

Yep, that's the hole in this and all the other "audits." An out-of-state ballot from an ineligible voter that voted for Jao Bi-Den is still counted as a legitimate vote for Jao Bi-Den. This is exactly why the D's want to expand mail-in ballots and no voter ID. They know that because of existing privacy laws and anonymity of ballots that testing eligibility after the count is pretty much impossible. It's not rocket science folks, they've found the hole and have exploited it.

Fulton County attorneys pushed for a sampling of the ballots instead of access to all of the ballots. They particularly objected to access to physical ballots.

Fulton County attorneys also objected to expert witnesses testifying the number of ballot batches certified by Secretary of State Raffensperger in the previous ‘risk limiting audit’ were significantly different from the actual number of ballot image batches that were provided by state and county officials in court-ordered discovery in April.

Shockingly, attorneys for Fulton County declared ‘the county has no control over its election tablulation process.’

“A high number of ballots appear to have been counted twice,” declared the expert witness. There was an error rate in the batch data of 21%”

The ‘risk limiting audits’ conducted previously in the state of GA by SoS Raffensperger were shown in today’s hearing to be severely compromised.

The GA Attorney General’s office testified citizens have no right to audit the vote.

Lol, Looks like someone is trying to get ahead of the shit storm that's coming.

If you read this article, the Secretary of State is saying those specific voting machines shouldn't be used again. Not that no machines should ever be used, just the ones involved in the audit.

She claims they are tainted now after "this equipment being accessed by amateur, uncertified -auditors- with zero transparency."

Last line of the article.

"We’ve said for some time that these voting machines should not be used until some basic controls are implemented which would make them more secure:"

I couldn't find anything before the election, where she had any concerns about the machines.
And why didn't the BOS let them inspect the machine where they were stored. Their people could have been there if they wanted too.

Those are the words of the Author of the opinion piece (article), not the words of the SOS... Unfortunately.

Do you ever wonder why they chose AZ, that county?

PHOENIX (AP) — Firms hired to run a partisan audit of the 2020 election for Senate Republicans in Arizona said Tuesday that data was not destroyed, reversing earlier allegations that election officials in the state’s most populated county eliminated evidence.

The claim of deleted databases was amplified by former President Donald Trump and his supporters, who believe conspiracy theories about election irregularities.

To answer your question directly it is my under standing that the Arizona senate chose Arizona because the have no jurisdiction in another state.
and for the second part, they chose the most populous county because a larger sampling provides better statistical probability in their findings.
I hope that helps shed some light and answers your question.

They can check signatures electronically with certain software. Would not be very time consuming at all. In fact it is supposed to occur during the election process but I have heard election officials turned the error rate down to basically zero which means no bad signatures were identified. It compares to signatures on file with voter registration.

After publicly expressing "grave concerns" over Arizona's audit of the 2020 election results, Secretary of State Katie Hobbs (D) was "stripped" of her ability to "defend election lawsuits" by the state's Republican-led House Appropriations Committee, reported Arizona's ABC 15 on Tuesday. The duty was transferred "exclusively" to Attorney General Mark Brnovich (R) through the end of the 2023 fiscal year.

Great article with Bennett

Conradson: How about the chain of custody documentation from November to April, any word on that?

Bennett: We still have not received anything about that, no.

Conradson: In regards to pink slip discrepancies, they basically said “we don’t believe you. Your auditors must have counted wrong”. Do you think that the auditors might have counted wrong or do you think they’re just deflecting the blame?

Bennett: Well, we’ve been very precise, and I’ve watched personally to see if those numbers add up all the time, and many times they do not. So, the data that we sent them in the email saying that those batches do not always equal the number of ballots that their little subtotal sheet say should be there, is a correct statement. And so we hope they’ll be able to give us a little more insight, other than saying it’s supposed to add up and we must have just counted wrong. We’ve double and triple-checked that and we hope they’ll give us a little more insight.

Trump won......................BY A LOT. 😝
