HAHA - the new tie down looks a lot better than the start of the trip...

Good

A little sketchy!

View attachment 1013559

on the original setup there was a strap running from the front to the back to add reverse tension the rear tie downs were more for left and right.

I always find it interesting how different people tie things down differently. Just showing Dave and Corbin how I did it when I reloaded it. Their tie down job made it all the way to Yellowstone!

Holy Balls! Highly recommend this place if you are coming through!

Their secret sauce is Mayo / BBQ sauce with some tangy shit in it.. Burger was top 5 of my life.. fries out of this world.

they give you big bottles of that sauce which is what’s with the fries

Interesting thought as to Conservative areas vs others..

This town has American flags on every corner and at every house. In the restaurant (which is typical) they are very proud of their heritage / history and have it displayed everywhere..

everything from first legislatures to early farmers town founding etc..

They ingrain it into their community and into their culture which ultimately ends up with the children.

It’s extremely impressive and no you won’t find any liberals or their bullshit anywhere around here.. Under most the American Flags, Trump flags are still flying.

It’s on every wall but I don’t want to take pics of people eating etc..

Bear World kicks ass!! Kinda hard to take pics out of the motorhome because of all the screens on the windows.. but this place has a ton of different animals and you can drive through with your motorhome or toy hauler etc..

They come right up to your car and are walking around everywhere.. kids absolutely loved it. They are going into the petting zoo and gift shop.. I’m gonna take a break from driving and maybe take a nap. Lol

Must ask, with all the Bison about, do the restaurants offer Buffalo burgers ? Back in the day, never left after a trip to Catalina Island we didn't stop by the Avalon pier and grab a bag of Buffalo Burgers for the ride home.

I wonder of that Bear World is like county jail for the bad "Yogi" bears that steal picnic baskets. 😂

Thanks for sharing your trip with so many awesome pics. 👍👍👍

because I got it the day before we left.. I didn’t have time to do a TOAD conversion on it etc.. besides there are some upsides to towing on a trailer vs flat towing and there are downsides.
The upside is being able to back up. The down side is what to do with the trailer.
I don’t think you can tow that 4 down anyways. Need to check it out

Rolled into Dillon, MT (our future home) today...heading to Bozeman Wednesday. then probably back to Havasu next Monday. Hope you guys are having fun.

Edit... Well Shit you must have missed us by just a bit at bear world.. Bri's wearing her RDP "maybe drinking will help hat" lol

Absolutely. And stop at Oreganos in Flagstaff and bring a couple of pizzas on the way home. I will pay a delivery fee. Can just throw them out the window at the Stockton Hill rd exit. :p

sorry...

How many drive miles have you done so far?

No idea.. lol. we drive four to five hours a day in the motorhome.

When we were in Yellowstone I ran that pathfinder 6 hrs through the park and then 8 hours on the last day. That’s including stops though and walking around.

Not too bad... until the guide tries to be an acrobat and lands on the lady with the ball cap and breaks her nose!

Jesus that guy went airborne.... I was a summer raft guide in high school in Harpers Ferry WV .... super fun, 6 man rafts and rapids weren't too gnarly..... that pic shows that dude headed straight down into a hydro.... those big rafts aren't something I'd know about but that looks like a bad idea. When we were off duty we'd grab 3 man aluminum canoes and shoot right through fast as hell. Fun summer.

They have a small Concession deal at the waterfall where they sell souvenirs and hotdogs etc..

I snapped some photos of the post cards so you guys could see what the falls look like at full pool. They say they are actually larger then Niagara Falls.

Who doesn't hit the Tripometer on their Motorhome before leaving on a trip? I do it every time! Or I take a pic of my Odometer to start and another when I get home. It's part of the trip!

I have three lines on my info screen. Daily mileage, trip mileage and current odometer of all miles run. I watch gallons of fuel used to figure next fuel stop.

well technically this is kind of our first motorhome trip.. so I’m learning as we go. Lol.
The rest of the trips we are just off-roading somewhere.
I never cared much about anything other than the fuel gauge.
