caught in a rainstorm this afternoon going through the gorge, dived into the secret spot for shelter. A couple hours waiting it out, drained the cooler. Rainbows everywhere afterwards.

SS Badger, 4 hour cruise across Lake Michigan. It's a coal burner. RR tracks still in deck. I've seen RVs, semis, farm equipment, even a blade for a wind turbine loaded. They said 4 to 6 foot swells yesterday but calm seas today.

Needed a second dose clear the metal flake sucking up like crazy. Did a good 3 k wet sand. Polish. Now some wax. Can’t wait to see it in the sun. Not bad for 45 yrs. all original. Can’t wait for the new seats so we can run it. Hopefully a week out.

Coolest thing I may have ever witnessed, was while standing on our boat's bow pulpit, staring down watching the antics of a school of dolphin enjoying a push off my bow wake. There directly below was a pair of dolphins joined belly to belly, swimming in perfect unison, performing an underwater ballet that would make an aerial pilot jealous, all this while engaged in sex. I was witnessing the most incredible display of fucking imaginable, so perfect, so harmonious, so seemingly effortless.
It was at that moment, I was given to ponder just who really was the superior being on this watery blue planet.

Back in Havasu after a few weeks away. Dinner and hanging in the pool last night. Took a ride to Topock/Pirates today. Great time with @HNL2LHC and his much better half.

So cool.... I'd say owning boats for me is largely about all the wildlife experiences I've had and will have. I've never had the dolphin sex happen but have jumped off many times and watched them swim around me clicking away..... the whales are my biggest thrill each year as the greys come through. Hard to describe being in a 30' boat when a 40' whale comes up to check you out. Still hopeful for the blue whale experience before too long! I seem to be the only boater I know who hasn't had that gift yet.... 80' freight trains of the sea.

Your in my neck of the woods, I grew up down the street off Glen oaks and mesa.


Doffo has a great vintage bike display to check out, and peltzer has a neat rustic theme and usually has a taco truck. If you make down to deportola road, Danza del sol has the best cab Sav in my opinion and isn't as expensive as dome of the other mainstream wineries

Didn’t even look at the price. I know that it would not be anywhere close to your level of quality. I bet the sweat shops of China dont even use waterproof glue. And the sealers are probably toxic when you add water.

Nope everything is done by my hands. Definitely not a good glue quality by those boards either. I use titebond 3 for my glue ups.
