I just spent $900 at Home Depot on 15 12 ft 2x6s , 6 sheets of 5/8 plywood, one bag of insulation and some screws

Mills have been running Full throttle plus some trying to catch-up. They’ve mostly done it, so the prices should continue to drop to almost normal levels…..

A 2x4 x 1' IS 2/3 rd's of a board foot, so doing the math.... that comes out to $0.35 per board ft.... down from the 1.80 that it was at... so look to see 2x6" x 10'rs to be @ 3.50 each.... that gonna be a major drop it lumber pacs per house built

May 7, 2021 lumber was at $1670, today it is at $621. I haven't seen the drops at the big box stores yet though. Maybe they have to go through their purchased price stock before we see any decrease in pricing?

Set up a Will Call at Cypress HD and I'll send you the cash, there's no f'n way that's correct. My lumber stock is still in the green, I'm waiting for them to make a stock split again due to the volume.
