Hello everyone. I was finally released from the hospital yesterday. Is so nice to finally be home and not bothered every 4 hours for vitals, 6 hours for the heparin blood clot injection in my stomach and blood draws every morning. I was very close to being on a ventilator and thankfully that did not happen. I wanted to thank each and every one of you for keeping me in your thoughts and prayers I huge thank you to @H20 Toie and the others that sent me text messages on a daily basis. The outpouring of support really helped me get through this. I am now on oxygen until my lungs completely heal.

The hospital is the worst place to be. It's impossible to get any rest!!

Thank gawd you're home. Sounds like this thing really kicked your ass. 😔

So sorry to hear. You know I'm here in SoCal. If you need (or want) anything, shoot me a PM and ask.

Being retired does have it's privileges mang.

You be good!!! 👍👍

Congrats......
Leaving the hospital is always better than going.

Last time I was in the hospital for cancer surgery, Doctor came in and told me, "You need to get out of here, before you get sick."

Welcome back to land of the living..... couple of the inmates have been posting porn to fill the void.... but your 3am deliveries are some of my favs. When you are up to it be sure to let our RDP community know any medical info regarding Covid you've learned so we can increase our knowledge.... no rush at all.... I think we all agree its best to gain info this way rather than through all the media crap we have to endure trying to make sense of this. Heal up buddy and again; super pleased you made it.

Aww man, I thought this was just another silly thread.

Get better RR, I'm glad you're out of the hospital and sending positive thoughts your way, bud. 👍

Hi Ritchey, super glad to see you’re out of the hospital. Happy for you and relieved you didn’t have to go on a vent. Glad you took the best of two ways to leave a hospital - stay the hell away from there

Thanks Dan. I really appreciated your daily text messages. You are a good friend.

Welcome back rich

Thank you. I too am glad didnt go on the ventilator. We firmly believe that is a death wish and an easy out on the hospitals. No patient interaction when you are ventilated.
