I rented one in Hawaii eons ago before they made it to the mainland, thought it was the most bad ass machine ever and wanted one big time.

Nice! Get a tow bar on her and flat tow that baby around. Mine tows great behind RV and Trruck!

@gqchris i have a trailer as well. but its to much to put it up on the trailer and strap it. so the plan is to flat tow like yours!
before you bought the one you have i was seriously considering it.

i have put 3 tanks in it already since i got it. love the thing! it rides so ruff and is so slow!!! but it gets us just about anywhere we want to go.

plan is to tow it behind my 5th wheel. going camping in willow in 2 weeks. its only 60 miles from the house so that will be the first time the diesel tows the trailer and the samurai.

Yup. Its so damn bumpy and slow, but I swear to god I get more thunbs up in this thing than any other car I own. Its a blast and just cruising to the store is an adventure!!

Looks like I need new shocks the bushings on the top of the shocks fell apart, and shock mount on the leaf spring of the front right tire broke aswell. Goes to my fabricator next week to get it fixed.

Mines an 88. The inmate I bought mine from already did shocks and Old Man Emu springs etc so I lucked out there! All thats easy to work with and fix though!
