They were great entry cars for sure price point and all. Roomy as well drop a v6 Honda switch out to coil overs throw some 3x3s mske it really good.

You nailed that. My cousin is 6'-4 and 330LB. He fits great in it and we did a Honda swap last year. He is looking for 3X3 now.

Those cars were to big for vws but like said great entry cars with potential for upgrading. Honda j series is a perfect set up for that.

Agree, mine had a 1914 in it and I would have to wing that VW out to get up olds but it did ok in the dunes. It has the J series Honda in it now and it concurs most things. Needs a trans upgrade in a big way now though.

Didn’t you just buy a car welcome to the most expensive sport I have 5k inn mine already
Yes I did! That’s why I’m broke! Cage will most likely happen next year I’ve already got
Most of the other upgrades I want except comm. I still need to sell my old trailer and buggy that’s listed on here then maybe cage will happen sooner.

I have been buying from and known Kevin Boozer @ TFBB for years. Great guy!! and great to do business with. Always top notch and normally pretty fast turn around.

I run an 091 cased 002 full weddle and 4.57 ring pinion my builder told me it will hold when I did swap. So far it has all gears looked good after 2 years. Did go through a mai shaft bearing but it was from input shaft splines bottoming out in pilot bearing from adapter plate. He found problem and fixed it.
