I thought the windshield and doors were interesting and gave it a different look. What stood out and I can’t get past is the mirrors. I can handle the antenna on the roof. But those mirrors… . They’re ugly no matter what their on.

Those mimic the Jackman wheels of the 1970s. The day I graduated from high school, I took delivery of my 1975 K-20 Silverado Suburban. I already had big tires mounted on Jackmans at home, and drove there from the dealer and mounted them on the truck, along with one of those ubiquitous white front push bars.

I'm on the fence. I own a 70' C10 and a 72' K10, both short beds.

I think I figured out what gets me on this one. It's the color. Modern trucks don't have that color option but older trucks do have solid color options. Why not try to blend it into normal a bit more by going with all white or all black, it would help hide the differences in the body lines. Then you would really have the best of both worlds and wouldn't be wondering why a new truck is orange and white.

I think the '68 front end with the more sweptback hoodline would have been a better choice for the front end than the '72, as it would be a closer match to the roofline. But it is neat.

I love the resto-mods as long as they don’t mess with the body. These hybrids just ain’t right….
