Should he stated right off the bat I’m not mad.. myself and friends drink a little bit and we had one crazy night..

Unfortunately my driveway is looking a little rough now.. lol

Is there anyway to fix this other than busting out the slabs and replacing? And if I do that, is there anyway to even kinda halfway make it match?

There’s two spots on two pads where a one wheel wonder burned holes through the top of it.. It was a hell of a burn out though.. lol. Or rather burnouts.

Nothing will ever match. Might be able to do an overlay, or have the driveway ground a little bit to mask it.

Give it a summer and some pressure washing and it won't look as bad.

I say 10 more of those around the drive way and it will look good.

I’d just line up the cars again and do another round of burnouts. That way no one knows that you and your friends can’t do a real burnout. 👍

If it’s bothering you why not just bust it all out and replace with concrete paver driveway? Looks so much better than poured concrete!

Now if it was a rental property I would just grind off the rough edges and call it good!😬

Patchcrete is what we use to patch our slabs and tiltup panels, matching existing concrete is near impossible, if you float the patchcrete out it will "feather-in" kind of like touching up a painted wall, the further out you get the less product is applied and it slowly disappears.

It will fade some with time.
Give it a year of weather.

Have a epoxy floor contractor come in with a diamond tip grinder and grind the whole driveway and then seal it. It will expose the rock and add character to it. Maybe work the RDP logo into it as well and write it off as a business expense for advertising.

Dawn dish soap and a scrub brush will at least take out the rubber marks.

After that, it might not look so bad.

Looks like the spot I have on mine where my drunk dumbass lit some fireworks on a 4th of July without any bottom protection. Im sure heat is the same culprit. Shit never has come out 4 years later!

RD, get a hold of a local water proof deck contractor and tell him you are interested in the "Life Deck AL system" as an overlay.
It's a lightweight concrete mixed with 100% acrylic and adheres to just about anything including the trowels putting it down. They should be able to patch the holes and then do the texture coat over the whole driveway. Skip the final color coat so that you won't have to worry about maintenance.

I did some a few years back, did some with taped lines as well, gives the finish look of sandstone pavers. Different ways and looks to get. Some "cool deck" types as well.

At some point the coating will get gouged and he’s going to be right back where he is now.

there are companies that have machines to grind it down (the entire driveway). will look brand new once complete. probably take a 1/16th or more out of it.
