Looks like after 170k miles on my Chevy Duramax LLy i need to start replacing some injectors. Anybody have any experience with going with either reman or new. I would prefer to go the new route but cheapest i can find so far is 399 a piece.

Definitely change all the injector lines too while you have it apart

High pressure side or the return lines? Was already planning on replacing the return lines with new fittings

Not too sure how far away you are but injectors direct I’ve have had good luck with. Believe the last one I did was remans no issues at all. Pretty easy process to do on the LLY. Be careful buying “new” injectors from some people as they are not marketed correctly and actually are remans. Would suggest putting a cat filter housing vs the stock housing or if you want to spend some bucks do a fass or air dog. Also suggest adding a bit of oil when you fill up. The diesel now days lacks on the lubricant side badly.
