Tow ratings are easy

(Trailer weight x Load) ÷ Trailer Axles=F150

If not a trapezoid, draw the 4 sided shape. Strike a line making it 2 triangles. The area of a triangle = 1/2 (base x height). Add the area of each triangle and that’s the total area of the irregular 4 sided shape.

To make it simple, convert that trapezoidal shape to simpler rectangles. Then use simple L x W for those. The triangular edges would be half of the L x W.
