No, it's stored behind Rebel at Red Mountain.
We'll come in Friday sometime, yank it out, put the batteries in, prep and Fuel it.
Stay in town somewhere, proabably have dinner and 'Pie' at the Southwest.
Have Breakfast and head over to Cottonwood.
We actually have a room there at the Luxurious Cottonwood Estates motel...
They had vacancies for Sat. / Sun not Friday. Weird.....

Wondering if there was any kind of time frame for the group or anyone around Cottonwood?

Heads up everyone.

It appears that the Park Service has taken some interest in our boating this weekend. Apparently they’ve been trolling the site and are trying to shakedown some permit money trying to call this an “event”.
This being nothing more than a few boaters who through social media end up seeing each other on the water on the same day through communication online.

In my opinion, they are stretching real hard to try and make it more than it is. I will still be out Friday and Saturday boating on Mohave and will enjoy boating with other boating enthusiasts.

That said, I would double check life jackets, fire extinguishers and type IV throwables etc. and not give them anything if they do decide to target us.

Also watch out for the kayakers above willow. They feel the river belongs to them (roadies of the water ) and like to complain about boats.

Ive been out here all summer, the rain has typically gone through quickly if at all. We’ve been on the water and seen clouds out towards kingman, needles, and searchlight without it bothering us on the lake.

FWIW - For those starting in Cottonwood, the Denny’s now in Searchlight serves a pretty good breakfast. Although beware, coffee is $3.99 per.

Right on. We eat at a mexican spot right there all the time. The Cottonwood Motel is too shabby hahaha.

Best Western or Hoover Dam lodge here is where I would probably stay.

SO far this week we have been getting insane Monsoons rolling through about 4pm with wind gusts that are crazy. I have all my patio furniture tied together to keep it from taking off. If you see clouds and rain coming get to the shore.!!!! The storage facility behind my house got a big section of fencing ripped off and blown away and its only a couple years old.

Launched out of Cottonwood about 9:40 this morning. Sew a group of boats hanging around across the way and went over to visit and see what’s up. Said they were heading up to willow then up to the dam and and we were welcome tag along. So we did. Seem to be a lot of PoPo’s out. They followed us up the Do Not cross Line. A few of us got up close and interacted with them. Word has it there are a lot of eyeballs on this thread. No big deal. They’re just doing their job. Got to respect law and order. Sorry, no pictures from me Just not my thing .We felt like we made some new friends today. Good times.. Boaters interacting with other Boaters.
