Better get good photo before you go look at that one. The hull is BAD shape top to bottom front to back. His photos show it to be in good shape. I have photos of all the damage.

Well I guess that would be one advantage of it being painted it will clean up easier. I have used acetone to re new old yellowed rub rail.

Oh I took them off and most of the hardware to buff.

The clear anodizing is in good shape so probably leave it alone.

Yeah it is no longer a “rub” rail. But why would you put bleach or brake cleaner on it?

I use base clear. I masked with 3m fine line and sanded with a red scotch bright then adhesion promoter.

It would of been a lot less work if they were off. Took the bolts out but they wouldn’t come off. I think someone urethane’s them in. Wasn’t worth risking breaking them. Only purple I am changing is the interior.
