Been awhile but the motor finally hung. Now final rigging is taking off, hopefully rdy to water test in a few weeks! We didnt go quite as dressed up as you did on your interior. This is my fun toy so keeping it as simple and light as I can. Yours has been fun to watch and it looks like you have...
Heres mine coming off of the cradle. Then we cut the base off of the cradle w/ a sawsall, and mounted it to a std vbottom trailer to be able to store and move around while a custom trailer was being built. Didnt affect the current bunk settings.
Yes I have the blue painted one that Paul is rigging in FL. We are just gathering all the parts and pcs yet. c19 took its toll on getting things in a timely manner. So no real updates that you havent already seen
I am curious how much head room you will have? I purchased an open hull, and my new 300R is in shipping finally?
Maybe relate to how tall are you to be able to fit in that setup?
Did you do any glass touchup on the hull?
Thanxs for the info!
We moved from West Michigan to Mooresville NC in 1985. Started a business here. Been on Lake Norman since. Best move we ever made, and we have been able to build equity with the growth curve that this area has seen since 1985. Yopengo I believe is on Norman too, though I have lost track of him...
anyone else wonder how hard it is to get at the engine for working on? Watched Lenos vid and it sure seemed tight and a stretch from the sides/back to see anything
I am curious to sit in the new mid engine, but for now will enjoy the convertible C7
The C6 was my last vette, pic was from the day I sold it, but had just gotten the C7.
I do like the top down look on the C7, the convertible was the only reason I decided to move up. The C6 was an awsome ride too
The argo was awesome in turns above 40. All the way to the top end. My 300XS was bone stock with a 2 yr warranty. Ended up putting a Mike Nass light wt cowl due to the water inversion with the stock engine cover. The sky would be the actual limit with a 300X like that on the back of it! LOL...
No arguement here, I didnt have an adjustable jack plate, so holeshots with a 36 ptch prop were not what I was setup for! But from a rolling on plane start, would be fun to try!
