I’m in need of a new ski rope and was wondering what rope people run with their wraps/bridles. The rope I’ve been using almost seemed like a regular utility nylon rope.
Shoot, thanks for reaching out Dave. Cost keeps goin up each time I get back out to the house. Luckily it’s a smaller home around 1600 sqft and is going to require all new drywall texture paint, two bathrooms will need a remodel, our kitchen is coming out hopefully we will be able to
salvage...
I think a couple of the big saving graces were our flooring was polished concrete so the water drained out Proably in about 8 hours or less. Our baseboards are tall about 6 inches I think and are real wood. Hopefully that helped keep a lot of water from penetrating too much and running high up...
Officials around here are saying we’re still not out of the situation and think it could get worse. With the high potential of us flooding again should I open the walls?
So far I’m thinking of raffling off my boat and my Ktm 500 to raise money to get our house fixed. Once we sell a certain amount of tickets the rest could go towards getting my neighbors house fixed or all the other residents of Tulare county that didn’t have flood insurance as there was a lot...
We definitely are trying to get cleaned up as much as possible we’ve got all the water and and most of the mud. We’ve got carpet fans and a dehumidifier goin in there. Only problem now is they keep saying the dam is going to release a large amount of water that is more capacity than our canals...
We’ve been taking a lot of pictures even have video of them pushing the berm over to slow the water to drain towards us. Been really hard finding someone to take our case as the farmer is very large and well known and apparently a conflict of interest for everyone
Apparently Biden has declared the emergency for multiple counties in California including our county and multiple counties have received it. It sounds like Newsom hasn’t declared it yet for Tulare County tho for some reason? So there is no funding
The farmer did it without notifying anyone. We had no time to prepare. Once it happened I had up to 4ft of water on our entire property in 30-40 minutes and we live on 10 acres
Well long story short. Our entire house was flooded pretty bad in Tulare county last Friday along with many others. We’re currently unable to live in our home. We don’t live in a flood zone and don’t have any flood insurance. Our home insurance company already told us sorry and good luck. There...
Birthday trip to the river had a good time on the water. Even made it all the way to the dam for the first time in January. Thanks to booger ray for some amazing photos
Thanks for the input, we’re gunna be on the strip. So nothin on havasu. We use to try fishing there a lot when I was a kid. Only luck we had was waking up in the morning and finding a fish that swallowed our extra length of bowline floating in the water haha
