OK, I’ve been through this whole thread. I don’t understand why we just don’t go back to manual shift five speeds with a clutch and do away with this automatic bullshit. Back in the 80s I drove a 3500 dually Chevy big block with a four-speed with a granny low and we towed a top fuel drag bike...
My friends gorgeous 2018 F350 super duty diesel four-wheel-drive had issues where the front four-wheel-drive wouldn’t engage unless he got out and lock the hubs. He searched out the problem and found a failed vacuum line which pictures below will show. You’re looking at two vacuum lines. The one...
My friends 2021F 350 had the same problem. Turns out there’s a vacuum line that goes down to the front diff that gets hard from the heat of the engine and cracks. To trace the connection, it’s on the left side fender up high above the wheel well you track that little line which is black in color...
On carbureted vehicles, I used a nitrous oxide systems gasoline solenoid and screwed it right into the fuel inlet on the Quadra jet carburetor. Then ran a kill switch to some hidden spot on the car and that works great because that car was attempted to steal and they cranked on it until the...
Or how about the ones that are in the right lane to turn right and when they get to the corner they swing out towards the left lane and enter the corner like a goddamn NASCAR driver.
Oh hell, get yourself a flexible piece of plastic like a serving tray up against the windshield , back that up with a 2 x 4 and wedge that against the pilot seat and the pilot will just have to sit a little off to the side and finish out the damn flight. Hillbilly airways, we gitterdun.
68 and still going. I do 12 hrs a day. Have no plans to retire. Why? Having too much fun with our business. The longer I work, the longer the nest egg stays intact. One day my body will say enough is enough. That’s the day I retire.
I just noticed something. I believe there needs to be a couple of quarter inch pipe tap holes in these plates to let the hot water out. The plates that came off the boat did not have any water exit holes and it does appear that the manifold was getting hot at that far back end. Anybody chime in...
Fabbed up some exhaust flanges for the back of the manifolds which will get an aluminum tube TIG welded to it with some elbows and some rubber hose going out the back of the boat. The inscribed circle is to help the welder line up the tube.
