It’s a carb set up with a 1050 dominator and carb spacer.
I actually sold you (obnoxious001) my old set up from heads to arrestor back in October 2020–the red Stoker. I’ve been running a large arrestor with no hatch but want to get the hatch back on.
I have a transom facing scoop and thought...
Is there a formula for determining minimum arrestor size?
I’ve spent a bit of time researching online but haven’t found anything.
I’ve got a bbc making a little over 700 hp n/a and I’m trying to find an arrestor that will fit under my hatch but won’t choke the engine.
Any and all help would...

562-407-3869
I use him regularly for our office in Cerritos and have used him for residential in La Mirada
He’s not cheap but much better than other bids I’ve received. He does not cut corners so fixes may be more but he does good work.

Learn to drive them is about speed or getting the most out of handling. I far as skiing goes anyone can hop in and drive one just fine up to 60-70. My 80 year old gramma drove mine (20 SST)with no problems and I think it may have been the first boat she'd driven.
Going fast requires packing...
Daytona will be almost 10 mph faster and is much easier to drive. Stoker you will need to learn how to drive but it will turn and maneuver much better.
I've heard 40:1 a few times but never less on the 260's but to be fair Al didn't make it that black and white. He said something to the effect of if you plan on spending much time over 7000 mix at 32 or 33:1 but otherwise 40:1 should be fine with good oil.
I'm not an engine builder or racer...
I was told by Al Stoker 40:1 under 7000 rpm or 32:1 over 7000 rpm using good oil. Ive heard different opinions on ratios but everyone seems to agree that good oil and fuel are the key to keeping them alive.
I personally run 32:1 and don't have fouling problems
I have a smaller 20.1 Stoker...
