I replaced the throttle with a rebuilt unit.. still did not solve the problem
I bit the bullet and replaced the entire throttle and speed controller spendy at $1600 but at least the boat will not leave us stranded

So I bought all the pieces from jk electronics in Westminster. You can find them on Amazon as well. Installed it and seems to be working. I have not had the chance for a long drive yet. You do need to drill a small hole for the set screw on the pyrometer

Same issue, there is a neutral safety switch that will not allow it to go forward to reverse if it’s not in neutral on start up.. but I don’t think that’s my issue
After turning the key on and off 100 times then all of sudden it will start and run for the rest of the day

We have a 2006 21 foot Duffy. We can be driving and suddenly have all power loss and be dead in the water. You can turn the key on and off and put it any position and hear the clicks from the speed controller but no movement from the prop. I think I have narrowed it down the the throttle being...
