Thank you for providing the link! Yes, I think the Nordic boat got too many penalties accessed. It sucks that it comes out that way, the Nordic boat can run 140ish and Stoker is lucky to run the 110 mandate. But it is what it is, and Al ran a very smart race, go figure. Lol.
I had a 392 in a jet boat that I had been into a couple of times, but I can't remember what head gaskets I used. Like Itbaney said, if there are holes that don't match up its probably intentional. I had more problems with the core plugs blowing out of it when I got on the throttle hard :)
I think that's a great idea! As far as prop pitch, it will depend on what gear ratio your drive is. I have a 26' Playcraft tritoon (I know, apples to oranges) with a 2.0 gear ratio and run a 24/22 combo on the props.
