We used to do a lot of "boat in" camping on Lake Mohave above Laughlin. Launch at Cottonwood Cove and head north and there are great camping sites on the East side of the lake. This is remote camping. It's more if you are looking for nature and to be alone.
If you are looking for more "party"...
Run both tanks down below 1/4. On havasu that's a run to topoc or the springs or both if necessary. Usually do that in Oct or November. Fill her up with 91 in April and take it easy with the first tank. Knock on wood, no problems so far!
Beautiful boat! I'm surprised that it doesn't have turn signals for the trim and jack plate? No jack plate needed for a 350R? Maybe too heavy for a jack plate? Just curious whether these are a "thing of the past"?
Usually cruise about 3500 as well. Push it to 4000 if we're "in a hurry" for cruising. 3500 will keep us cruising about 50 mph.

The colors are original. I've had it ceramic coated several times and that really makes them pop.
Yes, I had the trailer completely refurbished at adrenaline. It really makes the boat look much better.
Dad was a mechanic and into cars and figure 8 racing at Ascot. Not into boats and couldn't swim. A friend of the family had a late 60's 16' Glastron with an 85 on it. He also had two daughters. I spent a lot of time skiing in that boat. Ski'd the green water and dead fish in Elsinore all the...
I agree. I've run it for several years and I baby it. So far, it's been fairly good to me. I usually cruise in the 45-55 range. That's where the family is comfortable. I've had it dyno'd at 500 hp, which is enough that I don't struggle to ease onto plane and I can cruise between 3500 and 4000...
So,
To the initial question... The magic meetup is at the nautical from August 19th through the 22nd. The comments to contact Tiffany on facebook are correct.
To the general point, yes there are a lot of Magics and the 28 magic deck was a very popular model. I've had Eliminator, Ultra and now...
All of the magic deck trailers are set up with two winches. The lower one pulls down on the bow. The front / top one pulls forward.
You put the boat on the trailer with the front one, pulling it in. You attach the lower one up on the ramp to secure the boat.
I assume as stated above that it...
If you look really close at the picture, there are two toggle switches located on the back of the ladder riser above the electric jack. One of the switches is a "power on" and the second one actually turns on the lights.
I just had my trailer redone at Adrenaline in Havasu. Installed LED rail lighting, Electric Jack, new ladder and upgraded to Electric over Oil brakes. Installed a battery on the toungue of the trailer with an onboard charger. I have to plug in the trailer now to maintain the charge. It also...
