That's interesting... they were one of the last "Cash Only" bars in town... you would think they had a pretty good profit margin on just draft beers... but hey what do I know... I'm just a patron... :p

So it was said on a FB group that The Desert Martini is now permanently closed?? I know it's a dive, but man that was part of the nostalgia of it all!! Go in get an ICE COLD schooner... talk to a few locals and call it a tradition. Anyone have the truth on this? I'm hoping it was just wrong...

Hands down Cosmo!! The balcony alone was worth every penny!! The jaccuzi has a window too so you can drink champagne and look at all the pretty lights!! It's an amazing view and experience... I'm mad I didn't know about the Barbershop though... :( Just stayed there a couple weeks ago...

Damn... this chick is whacked out!! But sadly she was drinking... was a .14 and was going to drive her and the child home? CPS needs to completely step in here!!!

Best thing I ever did was go to the Windows Surface!!! This thing is fast and reliable and so compact!! Literally fits in my purse and allows me to work from anywhere!! I work on the Metrolink in the mornings and afternoons on my commute to and from work... Plus I can work from right inside...

We were on Balboa Island recently and we decided to walk the town... Man the houses are sooo close to one another and we saw one standard home inland on the island no views besides your neighbors windows... for 5Mil!! I was like who would want to live THIS much on top of one another for that...

My friends for years laughed because I refuse to jump in the water without a kids kick board from Big Lots or Rite aid... any where they sell kids pool stuff... while no it is NOT a life saver... many times boats are going bye so fast after you get through the gorge and heading to the channel...

Ugh... now my heart breaks EVEN MORE!! Those poor little girls!! Poor wife!! None of it sits well with me in thinking of their futures... :(

Saw this on Riverwhips... absolutely horrific for the whole family to endure... That being said... I'm not sure first aid would have helped in this situation... I truly and highly doubt she could pull out a grown mans body from the water up onto a boat from that deep of waters and with him...
