I went up North and visited the guys from Tuff Marine for the end of season run. Here is a video of the day and there is an article about the story of the company.
For the first run I rode in the Tuff 34 with a single Mercury Racing 1100, it runs 148 MPH. In the afternoon I rode in the latest...
The boat market has changed a lot over the years and after checking out the Miami Boat Show last month, it reminded me how many cool popular performance boats there were when I was growing up.
There is definitely a market for smaller, affordable performance boats, but not many are making them...
Bringing P1 Offshore and F1 Powerboat together for a weekend of boat racing and exhibition, Mercury Racing is planning a fun weekend in Sheboygan Wisconsin on August 11-13. Should be a great showcase of different boat races from all classes. I'm sure Mercury Racing will have some great events...
How long can these ridiculous used boat prices last? I wrote an article in 2017 that talked about pricing a used boat and mentioned how some boats are all over the map on price. I think the article is even more relevant now. What do you think?

Here's a complete walk through of the 2022 Miami International Boat Show. All the performance stuff is in the beginning; Cigarette, MTI, Outerlimits and more.
Also look at the more general market stuff, Formula, SeaRay, Four-Wynns etc. All the engine manufacturers too.

We did a short drone video with a Chaudron Pro S25 with a 300R in Miami. The drone doesn't go very fast especially on a gusty day unfortunately. But, the shots are still pretty cool. Boat is form chaudronmiami.com
These don't get much exposure out west, they're built in eastern Canada. But, they are doing some amazing work and their latest 24 demo with a 300R is insane.

Really good restoration of this little 14' flat bottom. The story about the company behind it is interesting too, the company was International Fiberglass of Venice California, and built boats on the side. They also built other fiberglass products and most of the business was built on giant...
This was a long process, so here is the first article and video we did, and then the last. There are 17 episodes in total. A complete restoration of a 1990 22' Activator. Made in Long Island originally. Activator made quite a few race boats back in the day. Mark Schnepf now has Rage Powerboats...
Here's an update on our Allison Grand Sport with a Mercury 150 four stroke, getting 80 MPH. Basically stock, with only a few modifications. The amazing part is getting over 10 MPG at over 40 MPH.

This young guy did a nice job restoring his Laser LTV. He kept it original looking, and added some custom touches to make it unique. Love the Mod VP look on the 2.5 200.
