I've heard being stuck described 3 ways: You're not stuck if you can still move. Not stuck if the the wheels will still spin. Not stuck if you can still see the wheels spin.
He was a lake guy as well. Had a place on Monkey Island at Grand Lake O' the Cherokees in NE Oklahoma. I have two friends with houses near him and they would see him at the Marina and on the cart paths. He would stop and visit. Very nice guy.
Well the rebroadcast is not as advertised. The guide says its the Chiefs Dolphins but it is the Texans. I can only surmise it will be on next. But I give up.
I may be wrong but with the other games this season that aired on Peacock, as soon as the game was over it was re aired on the NFL network almost immediately. So I think I will just wait and watch it there. I want to see how the cold effects the game. I live in Kansas down near Wichita. The...
If tank has a wet leg you can fill completely full. In the good old day some farm tractors ran on propane and they were filled with a tank you pulled around. Just need to vent the tank you are filling. I can fill small tanks for my pasture burning torch or bbq grill.
This is a picture the Air Force took from a helicopter just north of our house and farmstead. You can see where the leaves were burned off of the hedge row and the activity at the site. This is after the leak had been neutralized
I do not own the quarter section the missile base was on. A close neighbor did. We owned the one directly north of it. You can still see some concrete pads and so on.
The red pin is where I live. The other one is where the missile site was at the end of the double tree lane. This is 35 miles southeast of Wichita and McConnel Air Force Base. There were about 20 or so sites around Wichita.
The accident near Little Rock was worse if that's possible. We had just sat down to noon meal when the Airman beat on the door, doorbell etc. and told us we had to leave. Everything had an orange filtered tint to it. We left with nothing but our Chevy Caprice and were gone for about 4 days...
In Wichita its down to one mall but it seems to do pretty good. Just opened a completely remodeled space that had been sears into a
Sheels. I just walked through that to get to the regular mall area and it was quite a place. Big food court and most spaces rented out.
This was a huge deal and we were evacuated for a number of days. My father was interviewed on national news many times giving the local resident view. He was very well spoken and the correspondents sought him out. I was on tv quite a bit about it as well. I was 22 at the time. Paul Harvey...
I had a titan 2 site a half mile straight south of my house. Had a horrible accident with a fueling procedure that killed some airmen and caused it to be inoperable for the duration of their useful life. http://www.themilitarystandard.com/missile/titan2/accident_533-7_1978-2.php
I've got one that has been in the family for a 100 years I suppose. It is broke but was fastened together some how. I use it some, not as much as I used to when I had lousy planter opener disk bearings. The guy that runs my chain saw shop of choice has the nicest one I ever saw. It is not...
