Just got it back and I am rocking out in the garage right now. The kicker speakers are loud and clear. The old speakers were blown, so only new speakers were needed and we got a new head unit. We relocated it since the old head unit was a pain to see with the sun, and too low near the drivers...
Is this the same weekend as the boat show? We have a big group going to the boat show this year.
I’m trying to convince Robert to take the boat out that weekend. I may not tell him it’s super cat fest 😂
So I handle a lot of the things we sell, and am the one home to sell it or the one to buy it. Since Robert isn’t around a lot of the times, I will carry protection and check the bills. I have sold an enclosed trailer and other things on here. One member paid by check and said once it clears, he...
I was surprised she released the songs. She is a perfectionist and these just didn’t work out. I know she’s from Texas, and maybe she’s trying to challenge herself. I didn’t enjoy it and I enjoy a lot of her songs.
I will say this thread has me intrigued. The first time I read it, I was wondering what is going on around here and it is definitely winter. But then, I would randomly wonder what’s going on with the stripper and if she has stolen again.
This is like a guys version of 50 shades of grey lol.
Thank you with all the help on parts and the ram. At first we were hopeful it could be rebuilt, but that isn’t the case. Thankfully we saved money doing the annual service ourselves which offset the cost of the steering actuator.
Apologies for the second post, but wasn’t sure if it’s getting much traffic in the maintenance thread I post about. Is a power steering ram resealable/rebuildable off a bravo 1 drive? I have received a few different answers. Just want to be sure since I definitely don’t want to lose power...
When he added more fluid, he added a little less then the max fill and let it sit for a few days. By the time he was done with servicing the boat, his brother and cousins came to help. They found the leak without turning the boat on. Thinking the seals failed.
Thank you. I’ll double check with Robert if it was the casing or not. And I’ll look for a part number off of it today. I do remember him saying it looked like it was leaking from where the “two plates” met. He didn’t know if there was an o ring/gasket joining them. He heard they could be...
Thank you. When I went to the boat mechanic, he told me I had the wrong gasket part number. I did a quick google search originally and was led to that gasket. Turns out, we didn’t need a gasket as the seawater pump had a tapped drain screw for us to drain it out.
Everything is serviced now including the oil change in the seawater pump which wasn’t terrible to do. New Fuel selector valve works as well.
Still no leaks from sitting. Going to run it on a hose in a little bit and see if that helps locating the power steering leak.
Appreciate the offer! I called the boat mechanic near me and they have one so going to swing by tomorrow to get the gasket. Hopefully now we can at least finish the regular service on everything this weekend.
Found the gasket. Any chance I can get one cheaper at the auto store? When I searched at Napa for a fuel pump gasket, it looks like the shape is slightly off.
