What are our obstacles to do the southern portion in 3 days? Weather? Rain? or Cold?

Is this a 3 day Loop. We are planning on our trip Dec. 11-13. Can only do 3 days. I was looking for a good 3 day itinerary. Also we are too far to drive with our own sxs, is there a good renter place? Thanks
