HaHa! That was my Dad’s old beat(do they still use that term?) in the 60’s ad 70’s. That stretch of road, before I-5 was built, used to be called “slaughter alley” due to amount of head ons that occurred up there.

They came in right at the Offshore surf shop parking lot and ran up hill to the cars. The video appears to be shot from the southern most house on the coast right there.

I’m sure you’re close, but it might be a year or two later. The one in the picture below is a 1967. Still has the old logo. “Ultra Flex” sounds early 70’s to me😂 The 67 had the exact skeg that your Dad’s has. Great find!

Great shot! Yes…that was the first thing he did was take the rocker out and flatten the keel further up. Yes…they do ride high! Super solid though. The yellow boat ran just over 110 and never got out of shape, but they called my brother to the tower a few times!😂
