You could do a center console boat with outboards. Outboards generally run for hundreds of hours with no problems. They're fast, good fuel economy, and easy to flush out when you're done for the weekend. Center consoles are easy to wash down and cover. They can also be put on a loaner trailer...

Andy, you can spend the same on either one and have a blast in either one. The resale on the blazer would probably be better, but lots of people want a sxs. So, who knows. I guess it depends on where you wheel the majority of time. You want to camp and hit trails, the blazer. Just blast around...
