Hey - built a 383 for a customer with a panther jet drive. balanced scat kit- noticed a vibration at mid rpms (water hooked up via hose / just revving).. do panther jets vibrate a little without being in water?

Hi all - must have had this drive open 4-5 times now.. did a complete non gear/bearing service - uj's, shift cable, seals, etc- Just cannot get the shifting to smooth out.. Confirmed everything is free. I did line up the "+" and "-" marks on the driven gear seat- could it be the shift detent...

Always like the technical replies on here so joined to get some ideas here and there. I have a small shop and now and then have a tech question :)
