As of this morning Shasta has risen another 5 feet overnight. It is 30 feet from the top of the dam. Inflow is still over 52000 cfs. That is billions of gallons per hour. Even no rain expected for a few days the lake will continue to rise. Looking good !!!!! Mike

Just checked the Redding Paper and Shasta is up 18' since Feburary 1. Shasta Caverans reported 36'5" of rain since January 1. Last Sunday's inflow to the lake was 45,000 cubic feet per second. That equates to 1.2 billion gallons per hour. Now that it is some serious wet. More to come through...
