I guess I should also say that I reset my fuel management when on the highway. If I drove around town before the trip for a while I am sure my mileage would be around that 15 - 17mpg at the end of the trip. Either way I own it so therefore I am keeping it. I sure would enjoy a faster raptor...

I have a 7.3L 140,000 miles air and exhaust only and I can get 22mpg at 72mph unloaded and 15mpg towing a 2 axle trailer with a jeep and motorcycle loaded in. This is off the fuel management. Needless to say I will never sell it. Oh an it puts my baby to sleep instantly! Great truck.

Looking into buying some radios for dirtbikes and a jeep. 2 will be installed in helmets and the third in a jeep. I have seen the website for rugged radios. Any other manufacturer worth looking into?

I had to move the seat forward but it works the same way. folds forward for access. Just had to remove the side speakers but the seat covers the holes now. lucked out with that one. I did remove the trim tabs but I think I need them when the boat is loaded at low planing speeds or you can't...

extended the transom to make a deck at the stern. also cut the transom to make a splash well for the outboard to trim up into. Now I have a true outboard schiada! copied the non skid from the bow and added it the deck. makes for a nice boarding platform. here are some pics..

This saturday may 21 and 22 is the second annual Pacific coast sport fishing festival. This year they added a fresh water aspect to the event. It's half long beach Fred Haul show and half LA boat show. It's not huge but hopefully will become a really good show in the future. come check it out!

Putting a 250 4 stroke on a schiada RT. The regular seastar tele flex 1.7 is good enough? Or should i go to the seastar pro from telelflex?
