I'm going down this road currently and I asked the same question and didn't get a lot of help. I'm adding 049 heads where there were previously the peanut plug heads. My builder is very happy with this grind and has built several using it several marine engines.
Lately I have been smoking my prime rib roasts for 2.5 hrs then wrapping like a brisket and into an ice chest for 45 minutes and then into the 500* oven to sear. The texture with cheap-o Stater Bros. meat has been outstanding.
My sister has worked as a product rep for Vick's cold & flu company until they were bought out by P&G. After 20 yrs of being the supervisor for an are that covered half of CA and AZ she and her husband bought into a snow cone deal (Rita's Ices). They were tight with the district manager and...
I am rebuilding my big ass day cruiser and like most jet boats it has a foot throttle. Unlike most jet boats I have need to access the area under the deck frequently. A. hand controlled throttle and forward/reverse selector would be a huge improvement in user comfort. I know I have seen them...
Does anyone have experience with West Coast Marine in Perris? I was told they are doing work for Tahiti and another builder whose name I have forgotten. I'm looking to have my 23' day cruiser done very soon.
In 1980 I was invited by a friend to escort her to her prom. Her Dad let the four of us (her brother and his date went also, we were all friends) drive down to the Balboa Pavillion in his new Cadillac Seville. After about 90 minutes we went outside for air and someone noticed the grunion were...
When I was a toddler my grandparents drove me to the river in Cadillacs and Chryslers. At 16-18 I was driving the family Olds station wagon or a Road Runner/Super Bee with a trailer hitch. Never an uncomfortable trip.
Then my buddy bought new in 1979 a GMC dually with all the bells n whistles...
First and only time I towed my 18' Horizon with a Bronco II we left at night in a light rain. I approached the first signal, hit the brakes, aaand that boat pushed me straight thru the intersection while I was trying to turn left. It was only like 10-15mph but the wheels were turned left and...
I'm loving all these pictures. Personally my crew was always all about the first early morning runs. After we all got our runs in, we knew when we got back to camp, breakfast would be ready. Not many of the girls wanted to get up at dawn.
win/win
Growing up in Corona, we cruised Market St. in Riverside a lot. E St. in Berdoo if we wanted to race. Found more girls who would flash us in Riverside usually, but more races in SB.
Drove to Van Nuys Blvd a few times but by 1983 I think it was kinda over.
I know my property manager has several other rentals, and is partnered with one of the biggest real estate offices in Corona. You might try contacting her office

My rental is 1776 sq ft 3&2 with a pool. Nothing special at all. Rents for $2600 but I simply love...
Hmm, I had forgotten about that. It was one of the few cars in the stable that wasn't a 4 speed. Most of his cars were all steel and running 10's. He sure could row 4 speed. This is the only pic i have in my phone.
