My parents have the Charter bundle. No real issues other than a few signal strength issues at the start. Wish I could get charter at my house, mainly for the internet (30 megs! I'm currently on .5 meg DSL, no joke). Only issue I have with charter is that their MOXI DVR sucks royally...
What are your power goals and what is your budget? Changing the compressor wheel will only help turbo surge, not add power.

Our gas prices are around $3.35-$3.40 a gallon. I always fill up at Shell and use my Fuel Rewards Card there, at least 3 cents off per gallon, plus with my BoA cash rewards card, I get 3% back on all fuel.

My parents have a 2010 Fusion SE with the... 1.8? 1.6? regular gas 4 cylinder with the 6 speed manual. Fun car to drive, plenty of power even when loaded for a weekend at the lake. I wouldn't hesitate to get one with the smaller motor.
One of my best friends has an 07 3500 crew cab short bed with the 6.7 automatic. 4x4 with 35" tires. Roughly 130k miles and its been problem free. Just did ball joints and tie rods on it a few months ago. It's been tuned and deleted since 100k.
