LOL, nope, I learned this the hard way a long time ago with a truck registered in AZ, and I got pulled over with my CA DL. I tried to explain that the truck was stored in AZ and I only brought it home to move some trailers around. Officer had no part of that excuse.
Ca boat reg is cheap, like $50 for 2 years. When you register it for the first time, just note that it is stored and used primarily in Az waters.

I moved my Daughter to Nashville last year. I took the 10 route, mainly cause I had driven the 40 a few times most of the way, and I wanted to see something else.
If you're interested in that route, I'll let you know where I stayed, and how long my legs were, I did it in 2.5 days basically.
There's some fairly protected beaches between Moabit and Needles on the Cali side. People camp up on the gettis all the time. I don't see a reason you couldn't anchor your boat, throw your shit on the beach, and sleep in your boat. I've never seen a Mohve sheriff boat or a SBSC boat up that way...
You can find them, you're gonna need to put in some work, and likely have to buy from the midwest/east coast.

Why would you use a WFT gauge? It's gonna leave imprints where you measure the coating thickness. This is really used for industrial coatings, or are you going to use it on a test piece. If you're using that, does the coating you're using have a recommended thickness to apply?
