    School me on drones...

I think its pretty damn good! I have only taken pictures so far but they look clean and crisp, good enough for me and I would assume for most people as well. If I was doing commercial work then I would probably want the Phantom 3 Professional with the 4k camera but for me 1080p is plenty fine...

    School me on drones...

I just bought a Phantom 3 advanced model after my buddy brought his out to LHC a few weeks ago. I thought it was all a joke but when I saw how easy he set it up and started flying it and showed me how everything works I was hooked. I'm brand new to it all so I didn't wana spend the $1300 for the...

Opinion on Loc 'N' Leave Storage?

Any RDP'rs keep or have kept their boat at Loc 'N' Leave Storage off the 95 by Lowe's? Good/bad? Gonna store my Cobra out in Havasu instead of towing back and forth from San Diego.

    LETS SEE YOUR COBRA

My 2005 260 Razor....it would be great to see a mini-regatta again, the run up to Pirates was fun the last time we did it which was about 3-4 years ago I think.

Anybody in the US Coast Guard?

Hit the nail on the head with this one! I spent 3 years on the LEDET out of San Diego, while on a 7 man team, the six enlisted would be doing the boarding while the officer stayed on the Navy ship and was our control link. This is just an example of the diff between enlisted vs. officer. I know...

Anybody in the US Coast Guard?

I am a former enlisted Coast Guardsmen(1997-2001) and i am now a commissioned officer(2LT) in the California Army National Guard. With either one you choose, whether enlisted or officer, you cant go wrong with the Coast Guard. It was without a doubt the best descision i have ever made in my...

    Winter Upgrades

I have the Autometer Platinum series in my Cobra, they look great and work perfectly. IMO, they are just as good as Livorsi without the price tag.

To the firefighters on this board...

ROC hit on the head!! I went took 8 diff tests but never got to the oral but i prepared and studied my ass off for the oral. Bought the books, me and two of my buddies would give each other mock interviews and tape them with a video recorder to see where we were weak. Just so happens that...

Best way/techniques to polsih a prop?

No but my buddy who was with me all weekend in his 21' Ultra that has a Bronson Hill 22 pitch prop was fine and he parked right next to me everywhere we went that weekend. Curious, how would a different prop make a difference?

Best way/techniques to polsih a prop?

So is this a calcium build up im seeing on the prop? I know the top of my drive gets the calcium build up and to use Lime Away or CLR but i was assuming that the dull finish was from sand/sediment "roughing" up the prop when im beached; then i shift it into reverse to back off the beach which in...

Best way/techniques to polsih a prop?

I would normally post this in the prop section but it doesnt seem to get much traffic. I have a Bravo 1 26 that was labbed by Cutting Edge a few months ago. When i gave it to Greg the finish was very dull, after he labbed it for me it was back to being all shiny like a brand new prop out of...

    Boat batteries...

I have three group 27 Interstate batteries in my boat, on bank one i have the 27-XHD which is a marine starting battery and is the original from 2005 and still working great after 7 years! I probably will replace it next season but 8 years of service is well worth it in my book. The other two...

Do you actually use your boat? How many hours do you put on your boat?

I average about 30-40 hours per year on a 2005 Cobra 260 Razor with a 496HO. My hour meter only runs when the engine is actually running so with that said i probably spend at least 200 hours a year just floating/beached/anchored. It currently has 217 hours on it and i will probably be close to...
