Andy,
Thanks for the update on your racing activities. I didn’t see you guys out on the vintage circuit last year and now I know why. That is a huge endeavor and accomplishment with two cars!
My son just moved to Germantown and has made this trip twice in the last month. The first time he borrowed my Ram 3500 and my 20’ enclosed trailer to move things. The bed of the truck was completely full and he made it there without issue.
He traveled the 10 instead of the 40 on the way out...
RIP Gene. Like others have said, the boating industry lost a great one yesterday. I became friends with him when we bought our Sportdeck in 2007. He was the one I trusted to be fair with me when we sold the boat in 2016. He was a great storyteller and I remember vividly his story on how he...
Andy,
Great catching up with you guys. Nik is a helluva wheelman and a nice guy! You guys looked like a documentary production crew with all the cameras you had there 😂😂.
Chuck
Andy,
Great to see an update from you guys. I haven’t seen you at any events this year. I ran two CSRG events, one at LS and the other at Sonoma. I’ll see you in August at the Historics, my 59 Convertible D and 72 911ST were both accepted this year.
Chuck
Dave,
The standard for years has been 2 1/2 times the rent. They use gross income. Most large companies use revenue maximizing software and algorithms drive the approval process. In today’s climate it wouldn’t surprise me that some landlords would accept unemployment if the prospect can...
As was said earlier, BJ is just a circus. Mecum is one big step up from that and R&M typically a little better quality of car - but it really depends on what you are looking for. The two places I look at daily are BAT and Pcarmarket. The great thing about BAT (besides the commission...
This is an interesting chart. If you go to the state COVID website it shows 293 COVID patients in ICU in the county with 86 ICU beds available. I’m not sure of the total count of ICU beds in the county but 1.6% seems very suspect to me.
This is the type of “New California” that excites me. The Paso Robles City Council voted 5-0 last night to return the city to the state’s Purple Tier guidance, rather than enforcing the state’s strict Regional Stay at Home order. Restaurants and wineries are back open again!!
Andy,
Looks like you guys had a blast at COTA. It is certainly on my list. I was bummed about LS being canceled in December, but that’s been par for the year. I’ll catch up to you guys next year. I haven’t even thou about a schedule for next year yet.
BTW Mike, nice run in the Roadster...
I don’t post much on here but I thought I’d contribute to this thread.
My wife and I decided we wanted to look out of state for our retirement home and took a 10 day road trip up through Utah, Wyoming and Idaho earlier this fall. We had intended on finishing our trip coming back through the...
We just left Zion about 6 hours ago. in case you don’t know they have brought in private shuttle services in addition to the park shuttles. You can get tickets on the private shuttles, but they are $30 each - yikes! They have removed half of the seats in the park shuttles. Incredible place...
Yeah, didn’t realize there was a very similar screen name when I signed up and used our boat name as my screen name. Dave, is there a way to change it?
Chuck
No PM’s.
I also would like to see if you want to work with me on some power walls at my place in Paso Robles. I know it’s kind of far, but let me know if you’re interested.
