I helped out The Ugly duckling. Qualified #1 in 11:00 bracket. 1st round bye run, second round, .68 light. Tanya, Tara's sister won. Teased the driver about being a gentleman and letting the lady go first.

We used the boat show to check out evrything, then made an appt with Eliminator to hammer out the deal at the factory.
As for their usefulness. I had the chance to check out a boat my dad wanted to buy. Construction was crappy. convinced not to buy that manufacture. Come on, If your show...
Actually been on the same block most my life. Moved there at 11years old, got married and bought the house 2 doors down. Kids went to the same school I did, even had some of the same teachers.

35 years. Well, same adddress, Bought the lot behind us too. We bulldozed the house down in 95 and rebuilt. The positive, our tax base low, low, low. Paid $89.000 back in 1980. Thank you Prop 13!!!
And I'm leaving in a pine box. so hopefully it will be 70+ years there.

Doesn't anyone service their own stuff anymore? I still do everything. (Short of changing the high pressure oil pump on my FORD) I service my cars, crawl all over everything and check, check, and double check.
I even rotate my tires so I can clean the inside of the rims while I'm at it...
When wee bought our last FORD truck, it came with the 4x4 sticker on the rear fender, and the power strock badging. Peeled them off at the dealer while they installed by boxes. Sales person didn't like that too much.
Sorry, I like a clean vehicle, no sticker, no badges, and certainly no...
Guess again. We just sold some 2005's. Pete 379X (long hood) C-15, large sleeper, all aluminum.... With higher mileage but still super clean. Best offer $13,500. If it's a 2007 with a 2007 engine (art head, compound turbo's) and all the smog crap, it only has 170,000 miles because it...
We'll be there. Usually wrenching on a Nostalgia Funny car. The owner is sick an not taking the car. So I'll actually get to watch the races and wander the pits. Most times I'm stuck in the pits, and only get to see cars run when we're at the starting line. This will be a new experience...
traded my 2004 6.0 with 298,900 miles for an 2011 6.7. now have 113,000 miles. replaced exhaust sensors for $300
I'm told you need to use them. If it's a grocery getter, you will have issues. but then again, if you buy an F350 four door dually for groceries, you have issues too. I haul...
Well, we were coming up, but just got back from the hospital. Wife has shingles. Too painful to make the drive. Wants to relax at home till Monday.
Leaves our place at the Nautical empty for the weekend. Can't extend to the following weekend as that the Hot Rod Reunion at Famosa...
Family has two on the Oregon coast, one at Clear Lake(CA). Brother has one in Cabo, I have two weeks at the Nautical. Take six weeks off a year. No reason to buy another place.
And you know what we do there? Same thing we do in our own backyard!!

I have a note on my fridge. Making money so we can do the things we did when we were broke.
Firm believer in this. The time I enjoy most is sitting in the backyard with my sweetheart or friends. OR at Havasu on my boat with my sweetheart and friends. Or in Cabo..... It's still the same...
Nice. Looks like there's no change from my 12 Absolutly love it. I pull a 44' gooseneck. 112,000 miles and climbing fast.
We have the silver. when it's dirty it does not look bad. when it's clean,it does not look much different.

It's scary, I know. We bought our first building in 1999. bought it personally and lease it back to the business. Made sure the lease covered the rent. There were some times when we had to prop up the business to support the rent. Figured if I always received a paycheck, and the business...
