    Lake Arrowhead proper is the same way. I just advise the owner to drive some copper rods in the trunk and wait a year. Call an arborist and get a letter saying it's unsafe and will fall. Done deal.

    I bought the baofang as well. It was inexpensive and seems like a decent enough radio for the buck. I must be getting old (even if I'm only 43) but the traditional cb radio is so much especially to deal with.

    For Christmas I bought the wife and I vhf/uhf handheld radio for her jeep and the boat. I downloaded the PCI channels on it. What bands do you guys use or recommend? Hz in? Hz out? Using for Havasu, Glamis, arrowhead and big Bear trails.
