So I bought a car in AZ. Went to AAA. They couldn’t complete it because they needed to verify the VIN in two locations. I couldn’t find the one on the frame based on what I googled and people said where it was. At the DMV now. Anyone have similar issues? The car was previously register in CA...
So I’m looking to buy a 1975 Corvette stingray. Supposedly it’s been in the garage for about 20 years. They’ve recently updated some basic stuff such as fuel lines, fuel pump, belts, and hoses. Before it was put away and storage had a new interior put in, some other suspension modifications...
So the recent thread about marine speakers vs non marine speakers got me thinking about my system in the boat which I have had for 14 years now. All Polk speakers with a Boston acoustic amp and kenwood head unit. I only replaced the 12 inch sub a couple years ago. But last couple seasons it’s...
So my son turned 14 today. We got him the normal stuff, RAM for his gaming PC, Gaming mouse and some other things likes shirts and a hat. But it got me thinking what a 14 year old boy needs who rides dirt bikes, likes building projects but also does the lazy stuff kids do these days. Hence the...
Are they worth it? Motor runs fine just looking at some upgrades. Some are $500 (Jegs) some are $1,300 (Edelbrock). I’m not a gear head so not sure of the difference.
Any input?
Anyone ever been on one? The wife and I are thinking of taking the kids ( 14 and 10) in Jan-Feb. They are not cheap along with airfare. So any feedback would be great. We have spoken to a few and they said they were great.
I figured I would share some positivity around here. I picked up this chopped 1929 Studabaker from my BIL a few months ago. It needed some metal work done to the frame, inside door handles needed to be fabricated and a few other things. Andrew at Mayhem Metal Works took care of all that. Now...
So I bought this new toy. Rides pretty stiff has coil overs in the back and Bilstein shocks in the front. Looking at Airbags. Accuair looks pretty slick. But it doesn’t look like they sell the bags?. Also found a kit made by Vixen much cheaper with full kit, but I don’t think the bags would work...
Toying with the idea of selling the SXS. Just don't use it very much. And when we do go, spend most of the time watching the kids ride there dirt bikes and drinking, hence why I don't drive it much. Usually go on one good ride (2-3 hours max) per camping trip. Then just putt around the area of...
So the wife and I are in San Diego with the kids at Seaworld doing family stuff what would be a good place to go have dinner in San Diego? checking in the RDP brain trust!
So is it a cool spot? Do those ever go up in value? What’s the vibe like there? Can you rent them out? Anyone own one? Might be looking at picking one of them up. For $170,000 don’t seem to bad. I know the monthly land rent is $500 forever.
Looking to put full metal doors on the X3. Looking at TMW,Funco and Raceworks. Looked at Geiser but don’t like the idea of using OEM door frames.
Price wise Raceworks is looking good. But I know Funco is a good brand and TMW look nice.
I have the half doors but they rattle allot and move...
Wanted to go to the desert for my birthday. Night riding was fun
Morning started off good, then got a little bumpy. I guess I got that out of the way. Luckily everyone was ok, just some minor scratches to the SXS, a broken rear view mirror, a few rattled nerves and a bruised ego...
Sooooo, the wife and I bought a new to us house and are looking to get the pool re-done. Have a couple good people referred to us we will decide to use, just torn between plaster and pebble (mini). Pebble looks great but I heard from people it can be pretty rough on the kids feet and adults but...
Just got the word the marina is now open as of today. Cantina is still closed and the pool is still closed due to staff shortages. As soon as they hire people it will open. Just FYI.
