When did 9mm get to $1 per round? I'm afraid to look what my 44 mag rounds are now. Whos paying this?

Lot of demand for the popular calibers. Has been for a while.

Now add in the receiving, transfer, and background check fee (and tax) from your local FFL

BTW...pretty sure "Cheaper than Dirt" has been more expensive than everyone for a while now....but hey, at least they've got something in stock.

Never know how many people you may need to shot, better to be safe and broke then sorry. Paranoid panic buying at its finest.

$1.00 must be Team Biden's sale price

www.AmmoSeek.com shows 9mm still under $0.50

I buy from CTD all the time, but they do raise prices based on demand. A lot of shooters dislike them because of this, but they have always been fast and reliable for me. I am just not shooting until these prices come down.

I don't buy from Cheaper than Dirt. Ever. I used to, but watching their price gouging in the days after and around the election of President Obama left me completely disgusted with them. They were, as I recall, cancelling orders already in the lineup claiming "out of stock" then, relisting the items at inflated prices. People in the gun and other forums called them on it, and CTD pretty much told them to pound sand.
We do have a choice, they ain't mine.
ammoseek is the search engine I used back when I was buying.

SUCKERS to pay that much for the ammo. I don’t have bulk quantities by have enough to defend. And a few to practice but many years of shooting I only need to fire a few a year to keep skills.
Til it comes back I’ll play with other toys.

never support that store. CTD is known for being one of the number one price gougers and general assholes.

All that being said, If youre looking for 9mm at $1 a round, let me know. I'll even buy you beers during the exchange.

What did you get?

what about a RDP bulk buy 9-40-45-556/223

I can get ya whatever ya want / however much ya want!

those numbers are just what I’m bringing down to Havasu this week. My truck can always go back and get more! :).

currently I had planned on .223 being .62 cents a round. And .556 being .68 cents a round..

If you want to do “bulk” (7-10k) buys I am sure I can grind on those numbers a bit

I have enough ammo to load three magazines for my 9 mm, two for my .380, and a box of #4 shells for my Stoger urban zombie killer. It holds 7+1 rounds.

If I can't eliminate the threat with those 79 rounds, I'm probably toast.

Alright I’m listening.....
Would this be on an individual basis or would you set up a group buy?

Of the 10,000 rounds of 9mm that was brought back there is currently 3500 rds left. They are for sale at RTT fire arms on Kiowa (next door to Queen Racing).

they are .70 cents a round.

I am Waiting to hear back from Evelyn to find out when they are going back to get more but it should be shortly. :)

They also have 400 rounds of new .308 brass that is 1.50 a round. (It’s expensive but it’s nice stuff.)

Next up is more common rounds. .223 .45 .40 I think..

Try Ammoseek for 9mm. They have ammo starting at .51 cents per round and they only show prices for stores that have it in stock.

And fuck AmmoBros too...for ammo transfers, they’re charging $50 + 10% of what you paid for ammo.

I bought a bunch online.. by the time you are done paying for shipping etc it’s about the same as RTT is selling their 9mm rounds for..
Except at RTT it’s local and you can pay cash for it.

This advice was for those who are not local. I searched online for ammo for a friend and couldn't find any or if I did it was ridiculous on price or out of stock. Ammoseek was the one site that shows in stock ammo. It really cuts down on the search time. You're right on the shipping but sometimes you don't have a choice depending on where you live.

Cheaper than dirt sucks!! Palmetto state armory is out of everything and has been for a while. Only other ones I could find online wanted $1.30 a round for 9MM. Fuck that!!! Broke down and paid .50 cents a round at Turners. Better than being out!!!

I was at the gun show in San Bernardino this weekend. Bulk buys on 9mm were $0.46 per round. I was shocked as the last time I bought online when you still could was 18 cents a round for new. Lines were hours long as well to get some. In speaking with some friends, its been since the gun rush in March.

I am not as much an enthusiast as many, but I used to like to go to the Brea range a block from my house every couple weeks and squeeze off a hundred rounds, I only have about 600 rounds left currently and at these prices, its a slightly different cost proposition, especially taking friends and being generous with my ammo :). I guess it can only go up from here.

I can't see paying more than $.30rd for 223/556 or more than $.20rd for 9mm etc.. Anything above that must be someone who somehow ran out and is desperate. This happens around every election, then prices go back down. I saw Colt 901's are back to about $5k again like they were around the last election. Its too much of an unknown right now. You could be grabbing the last of the manufactured AR's etc., or end up with a gun that you refuse to register so you can't really sell it or shoot it etc. without risk of getting caught with it. Or you do register it and risk the Gov knowing you have it when they move to a full ban. Same with high cap mags. Great to have, unless they are banned and now you can't use them anyway.

I just bought some 9mm for .52/round and some 00 12ga for $1.10/rd....in CA...from a dealer! I was sorta amazed at the prices given the current demand for things...but I bought everything he had...probably why I paid what I did for it instead of double.
