Why would you pay for the Tremor package if you're going to aftermarket lift it anyway and change the wheels/tires?

People have way to much access to credit, I guess...

It’s crazy the prices of trucks I had been looking for a 2020 or newer f450 and couldn’t find anything used for less then 100k. Finally found one a few weeks ago that was actually priced fair but it’s a tough market to be a buyer right now

what do you need a 450 for? in another thread they said a f150 can pull 14k? what does a 450 tow 100K?

When people are paying 10-20k over msrp for trucks, then I could see someone buying it that doesn't want to wait.

I know you said you were going to sell your other f350 is this really yours? Haha
Naw.. I toyed with selling mine. The dealer quoted me 63500. It has ~40k miles on it. It’s about what I paid for it.

I just don’t want my F450 to be my daily driver. I also fish quite a bit and can’t see driving around on the Verde River in that monstrosity.

Sell it and buy a f150 it can tow 14k so if you aren’t towing the skater you should be fine.

I really don't understand the hate for the F150? They are capable trucks that will handle what they were designed for and are just as, or in many metrics more, capable than the 3/4 ton diesels from 20'ish years ago that we all thought could pull a house?

I pull my boat all over the place that weighs just under 8k w/trailer and also have an enclosed 24' Featherlite that most of the time loaded is about10k and don't have a worry in the world about anything? It has 5.0 and a set of Supersprings, but no "max tow" package. I used to be in the camp that I "needed" a 3/4 ton truck because "I towed" on occasion, but then, in my personal case, I realized a 3/4 ton or bigger didn't make a damn bit of sense for me.

Buy what you want because you want to, but why the need to justify it by shittimg on others? I would venture to guess that the majority of peeps on this board could pull their boats all day just fine in an absolutely safe and prudent manner with an F150 (or another 1/2 ton), but choose not to for whatever the reason. Just like there are minivans now quicker than most all of the muscle cars we grew up with, towing capability has increased dramatically in that time frame as well.

Ok, I'm off to see about adding that third axle to the boat trailer! Just because... 😎

not shitting on anything just trying to understand the logic.
I have a 1500 and 2500 and I was trying to understand the justification of using a 1500
For something the 2500 should be used for. The argument is because it can.

I wish I had a 9" lower unit that I could use on ocassion, but I was blessed with about 6" (depending on the lighting) that I utilize for everything. Seems to be capable and get's the job done?😜

In a perfect world we'd all be doing this. 😉
