Nice work on keeping a smoker alive. What is it? Rebuild or repower. Probably putting a late 80's 150 on my Pop's pontoon because I haven't found a Merc 90 4 stroke to replace the one that quit.

It's, I believe a 96', EFI 150. Just finished a rebuild on It ,now has a 200 block, new pistons, rings, rods, steel roller bearings, reeds, a little port and polish, performance exhaust manifold, and new exhaust holes drilled in the lower unit vs. just the prop exhaust.

Not a expert on EFI but sounds like you had your block modified enough to possibly require more fuel.
Are you running the stock 150 ECU on your new rebuild?
