I assume this is the same mold that Jay Ernst bought and Ervin Capps used for a bit? If so the same mold that "Drama Queen" came out of. That owns I believe the fastest jet boat ever record. (I can't find the information online). Tina Hill has the record. Capsuled Cheyenne. Or did unless it has been broken but I don't think it has. I have always wanted a boat out of these molds.

Yes this boat is out of the same mold, they are the original Tom Papp Cheyenne molds, Ervin ended up with them for a time period…btw Brian Nelson has the quickest and fastest jet boat ever by a long shot!!!…he has a version of this Cheyenne, not an original but based off it
I don't remember the details on the record I will have to ask some people. Nice running boats though.

The amount of grey matter and cocktail napkin sketches behind this is amazing.

The time spend disassembling parts for powder or anno is impressive. The dry sump clamps and the fuel cell straps and the ujoint straps are just a few of the details that Ive noticed. Nice work!

Thank you, wait till you see it back from re-machining after powdercoat, gonna be next level :)
Ya it will look nice for sure. When I saw those parts I figured you were doing that. It's a lot of work. I helped out a lot on the white and black 21 Daytona we did a few years ago with the same deal. Powdercoat then re-machine. I think that boat kind of set a trend with that. That was all the owner's idea.

I did it on my last race boat back in 2012

Where did you get this mount for the racepak? I’m doing a Racepak for my dads 32 Ford and this would be killer.
My buddy Trevor @ BLR made it, he has the program on his CNC and could make one easily although let me pre warn you it’s not cheap but well worth it IMO, such a cool part, here’s his number, tell him you saw one on the orange Cheyenne and I sent you his way…714-944-5989

Pretty cool deal here, it has an automatic bottle heater and it runs off a M18 Milwaukee battery so it doesn’t drain the main battery, all done and wired in, ordered the rest on the nitrous lines today so waiting on those
